Funny Story...

Yesterday, while eating lunch, I was watching The View.  I had Matt on the floor in his Boppy watching the ladies of The View duke it out over the election (I know, I know, he is way too young to be watching TV, but a mom's got to do what a mom's got to do to be able to eat lunch with two hands!).   During the commercial, I got up to throw a load of laundry in.  I heard Matt squealing with delight and making his "I am so happy I could burst" noises.  So I walked back into the room to see what was making him so happy.   And I found him watching a bra commercial!   Yikes!

Here is a great picture of the two men in my life.  I love you both more than you know!

The Forgotten Post...

opps...I had this all typed up and never posted it!  A little late, but enjoy!

Matt was lucky enough to have some visitors this past weekend.  His Aunt Nicole, Grandma Sandy and Grandpa came to visit!  We had a blast.  They are all so helpful when they come, and Matt just loves to be around them.  I think he likes to "perform" for them, and show them all of his new tricks.

Thanks for coming guys!  Sorry again for all of the puke!  We will make sure not to plan your visit when Matt does not get his next round of shots!  I know it is a long car ride, but we love to have you guys.  We can't wait until the next visit!

Here are a few pics from the weekend.  We caught Aunt Nicole snoozing while holding Matt, and could not resist snapping this pic!

Until next time!

Three months old!

I think Matt read the last blog, and feels a bit guilty about always needing to be in his mom's arms.  Or he just a little embarrassed.  :)  Or maybe he has hit a little milestone at three months of age.  Since I posted that blog last week, he has been a little more independent.  How nice is that?  He will sit in his swing (thanks again, mom!) and fall asleep.  I actually got the fridge and freezer cleaned out yesterday!  That job has been in the making for months.  And now I am able to blog in the middle of the day!  Way to go little man!  You are growing up fast!  Here are a few pics of the little guy happily swinging away!  Off to fold laundry!  Yippie!

I know, I know...

...it has been forever since I have posted (thanks for the kick in the butt, Gina).  I have one person to blame that on...Josh.  Only kidding.  My Matt is to blame!  My precious little boy loves to be in his mama's arms.  He screams whenever I put him down.  Oh, and he likes to be walked around the house ALL DAY.  Needless to say, I don't get much done around here.  BUT I have mastered doing things one handed, like laundry, paying bills, writing thank-you notes, eating, getting the mail and typing.  I know, so if I can type one handed, then why have I not blogged?  Email is to blame for that one.  I have also become very good at spreading blame.  Only kidding.  Seriously, though I check everyone's blogs everyday, so I know how nice it is to see a new blog.

Matt is growing like a weed.  He has grown two inches since birth and now weighs 12.5 pounds!  The good thing about me always having to carry the little guy around is that I am getting very toned arms.  Who needs the gym?   And with all of the laps, around the house,  these extra pounds should fall right off...at least I am hoping!

My little man is both sweet and salty.  Here are the pictures to prove it.  (thanks to my amazing husband for holding Matt so I could finish this blog.  It has been five days in the making!)
